Why donate to FreeCAD? How are the money spent?
FreeCAD is entirely ran by community members. All the donations go to the non-profit FreeCAD Project Association, which are then used for its initiatives, including but not limited to development grants, or bounty payouts. Visit the Accepting donations page for more details.

How to donate?
It is possible to commit to monthly donations or make to a one-time payment using the payment methods provided by this page. Monthly donations will grant you a sponsor level depending on the amount.
Sponsorship Tiers

| Gold 🥇 | 200 USD / 200 EUR | Will display your name or company name and logo on this page, a link to your website and a custom description text. Companies that have helped FreeCAD early on also appear under Gold sponsors. |
Corporate Sponsorship
The FreeCAD Project Association accepts donations from individuals and corporations alike. Donations solely aimed at placing companies links on the sponsors page are not accepted, as sponsoring companies must have some form or relationship with the FreeCAD project.
